Cooking
The beginning of the production process is cooking the flitches.The Intentions of cooking in boiled water tank are:
- Softening the Flitches, thus the outcome of veneer will be delicate and fine sliced
- Enhancing the Color of the Veneer. The cooking technique is highly determining the amazing color of each veneer.
The cooking method may vary between one species and others. In our factory, we pay a lot of attention on these methods to avoid damaged color which also means low quality. Next to schedule and temperature, other important factor is the water quality like hardness and chemical composition.
