For more than 20 years, PT Kreasi Indah Cemerlang (KIC) has been part of the wood industry in Indonesia. Along the way, we saw how rich our country is in natural resources and the incredible potential they bring to people and communities across the archipelago.
That curiosity led us to essential oils.
Indonesia is home to some of the world’s most valued aromatic botanicals. Among them, patchouli stands out, not just as an ingredient for global fragrances, but as a livelihood for many families in Indonesia.
We saw an opportunity to build something more close to our own origin, our own communities.
Not just to trade an ingredient, but to understand it from the soil where it grows to the quality that customers around the world rely on.
So we decided to take a new path.
What began as a business idea quickly became a bigger journey. A journey of learning, building relationships, facing challenges and growing together with the people at origin. It is a journey that continues today, with a clear purpose: to bring high-quality Indonesian essential oils to the world in a way that is responsible, reliable and built for the future.
